In this video of Laptop Retrospective we will take down the laptop and install an mSATA SSD for the next phase of the project.

If you are looking for maximum performance, putting an SSD in the 2.5 bay would be better as that bay is SATA 3 whereas the mSATA slot is only SATA 2. However, having the 2.5 bay free means you can hot swap storage and boot drives without taking the entire unit down and keeping core files on the SSD.

It comes down to more personal preference which I can demonstrate in another video.
