This ultra-portable laptop from 2011 has been in my ownership since 2019 but until recently, was lost to the bottom of a cupboard somewhere. My eldest child became aware of its existence and claimed it as his own.

I forgot we even had it to be honest, but it's a great little laptop.

This is a 2nd gen i7, currently with 6GB RAM, it already had Linux Mint on it, but in this video we talk about why this is such a good linux laptop and we swap out the spinning disk for an SSD.

We briefly have a poke around Windows 11, which can run on this laptop with a little effort during the build stage but most of the focus is an intro to a great laptop before we move on to installing Linux Mint to that replacement SSD.
