Seth is 14 and loves gaming! He uses a powerchair fulltime and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Gaming gives him the chance to escape into a world of virtual reality where he can run around and have fun.

Thanks to BBC Children in Need’s funding, Seth attends @tyhafan Hospice, where he meets with his palliative care play specialist in a gaming environment. Heather Roberts from Ty Hafan explains: “Gaming provides a level playing field for those who have barriers to typical methods of play. When they’re in the gaming environment, all of their physical needs are removed and it means it’s much more inclusive and accessible.”

Seth is also the first wheelchair user to become a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament, and has recently visited UBISOFT - the makers of Just Dance – at their Paris studio to advise them on how to make games more accessible.
